How are characters counted?
Characters are counted on the result, not on your original text. Example: a 20-word product description translated into 5 languages produces 100 words of output - and that's what counts toward your quota. Translate into one language, you use one portion; into ten languages, ten portions. Simple and proportional: you pay exactly for the text that gets produced, nothing else. Languages themselves are never charged - only the translated text.
Is there a limit on how many languages I can use?
No - and this is a real difference from other tools. Many translation platforms cap the number of languages per plan or charge extra per language. LingoTuner supports unlimited target languages on every plan, including Free. There's no per-language fee - your quota is simply spent on the translated output, in whichever and however many languages you choose.
What happens to unused characters?
On annual plans, characters never expire - you receive the full year's volume upfront and use it whenever you're ready. On monthly plans, unused characters expire at the end of the billing cycle.
